Elizabeth was born about 1458 in Of Kilmarnock, Renfrew, Scotland. Elizabeth's father was Robert BOYD and her mother was Mariota (Janet) MAXWELL. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas BOYD; her maternal grandfather is Robert MAXWELL. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, Archibald, John, Annabella and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died before 1498.General Notes
