Alexander BOYD 
Alexander was born about 1452 in Of Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. Alexander's father was Robert BOYD and his mother was Mariota (Janet) MAXWELL. His paternal grandfather was Thomas BOYD; his maternal grandfather is Robert MAXWELL. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Archibald, John, Elizabeth, Annabella and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died after 1508.General Notes
