John BISSELL 
John was born on April 5th, 1659 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut and his baptism took place on November 27th, 1659 in Windsor, Hartford, Conn. John's father was Samuel BISSELL and his mother was Abigail HOLCOMBE. His paternal grandparents were John BISSELL and Elizabeth THOMPSON; his maternal grandparents were Thomas HOLCOMBE OR HOLCOMB and Elizabeth FERGUSON. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Jacob, Samuel, Benajah, Joshua, Joshua, Deborah, Abigail, Mary, Abigail, Elizabeth, Deborah, Hannah and Deborah. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 24 on January 27th, 1684 in Windsor, Hartford, Conn. He was buried in 1685 in , Hartford, Ct.General Notes
