James BAINS 
James was born on December 22nd, 1778 in <Edenton, Chowan Co., Nc>. James' father was George BAINS and his mother is Mary CREECY. His paternal grandparents are George BAINS and Jane UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is Levi Jr CREECY. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, George, John, Charles, Isaac, Cornelius, Thomas, Catherine (Catcy), Mary and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 57 in July 1836 in , , Ala. He was buried in , Tuscaloose Co., Al, Old Bethel Cem..General Notes
