Johnstown Tribune, March 13, 1915
Mrs. Jane Douglass Adams, widow of Peter Adams, died this m orning at 8 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene B. Griffith, at Tanneryville, Wes t Taylor Township, aged 77 years. The funeral will take pla ce at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, with burial in Benshoff H ill Cemetery. Friends are requested to omit flowers. The de ceased was born at Cherrytree, Indiana County, and was a si ster of Mrs. Margaret Douglass Stiffler, of Indiana County , and Thomas and John Douglass, both of the West. Her husba nd, Peter Adams, died in this vicinity 12 years ago. Mrs. A dams is survived by these sons and daughters - Mrs. Kate Cl ark, Samuel and George F. Adams, Mrs. Bella Griffith, A. M. , John and Simon Adams, and Mrs. Emma Stombaugh, all of Wes t Taylor Township.
