BARNABAS DOUGLASS was a native of Dublin, Ire land, whose wife was also born in that country. Upon comin g to America, they settled in Philadelphia, later moving t o Cambria county, Pa., where they remained about eighteen y ears. At the end of that time the family came to Indiana co unty, purchasing a large tract of land in Green township ne ar the Cambria county line, where Barnabas Douglass continu ed to live and farm until his death. He had a family of fiv e children, three sons and two daughters, all of whom are now deceased.
