Eleanor de Thornton 
Eleanor was born about 1316 in Thornton, Cheshire, England. Eleanor's father was Sir Peter De Thornton and her mother was Lucia De Hellesby. Her paternal grandparents were Randolph De Thornton and Katherine Saint Pierre; her maternal grandparents were William de Hellesby and Alice Hawise Tursell. She had four sisters named Margaret, Elizabeth, Matilda and Beatrice. She was the oldest of the five children. She died before 1355.-
