Isabel was born about 1184 in Stoke, Devonshire, England. Isabel's father was William De Briwere and her mother was Beatrice De Vaux. Her paternal grandparents were Henry De Briwere and Miss Walton; her maternal grandparents were Robert I de Vaux and Agnes FitzWalter. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Richard, William, Margaret, Alice, Grecia Alice and Joan. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died on June 10th, 1233.-
