LaVerne Edwin was born on October 25th, 1921 in Melrose, Wisconsin. LaVerne Edwin's father was George Washington Thompson and his mother was Emma Börreson. His paternal grandparents were George Alexander II Thompson and Julia Emoline Levis; his maternal grandparents were Berndt Börresson and Ahne (Anna) Andersdatter. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Manfred, Harlon, Ruth Arlene, Ardyth Elaine and Living. He died at the age of 78 in July 2000 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.General Notes
