Engel Soorholz

Engel was born on August 3rd, 1797 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany.  Engel's father was Claas Reinders Soorholz and his mother was Foelke Berends.  His paternal grandparents were Reiner Classen Soorholz and Wobke Janssen. He had two brothers and a sister, named Berend, Engel and Mettje.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Reinder Claasson, Loert Claasson, Berte Claasson, Claas Classen, Wobke Claasson, Lauert Claasson and Wobke Claasson.  He died at the age of 6 on October 10th, 1803 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany.
