Ralph Roote was authorized by the court to confirm the sale of a house and land in Reading, belonging to his daughter Sarah, a minor, to Thomas Taylor, of Watertown.
They had six sons and three daughters, named John, James, James, Jonathon, James, Jonathon, Sarah, Abigail and Mary.

Abigail was born on August 20th, 1662 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. She died at the age of 47 on September 24th, 1709 in Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
