Lorraine Faye was born on January 7th, 1925 in Sibley, Iowa. Lorraine Faye's father was John Onken and her mother was Matilda Hindt. Her maternal grandparents were Richard F. Hindt and Frauke "Fannie" Smith. She had a brother and two sisters, named Marion John, Ilona Mae and Leona Gale. She was the youngest of the four children.-
