Alpin MacEochaid 
Alpin was born about 0777. Alpin's father was Eochaidh 'the Venemous' MacFergus and his mother was Princess of the Picts Unuisticc. His paternal grandfather was Fergus MacAedh; his maternal grandmother was Pictish Princess Royal of Fortrinn Bruide. He was an only child. He died in 0834 in Killed fighting the Picts at Galloway.-
