Sir John Le Despencer

Sir John was born in 1235 in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England. Sir John's father was Galfridus Geoffrey Le Despencer and his mother was Emma de Harcourt. His paternal grandparents were Thomas le Despencer and Rohese de Segrave; his maternal grandparents were Richard De Harcourt and Arabella De Quincy. He had a brother named Sir Hugh. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 39 in 1274 in Spain.
