William FitzAlan 
William was born about 1110 in Oswestrie, Shropshire, England. William's father was Alan FitzFlaald and his mother was Ameline de Hesdin. His paternal grandparents were Fledaldus (Flaald) and Filia Rex Scotiae; his maternal grandparents were Ernulf De Hesding and Emmaline De Normandy. He had three brothers named Simon, Walter and Jordan. He was the youngest of the four children. He died in 1160 in Oswestrie, Shropshire, England.-
