Sir John De Grey

Sir John was born in 1387 in Ruthyn, Denbigh, Wales. Sir John's father was Reginald II De Grey and his mother was Margaret de Ros. His paternal grandparents were Reginald De Grey and Alianore Le Strange; his maternal grandparents were Thomas de Ros and Beatrix De Stafford. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Edmund, Thomas, Elizabeth, Isabella, Catherine and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Reynold, Robert, Sir Edward, Elizabeth and Alianore. He died at the age of 52 on August 27th, 1439.
