Alexander Comyn 
Alexander was born about 1215 in Buchan, Aberdeen, Scotland. Alexander's father was William Comyn and his mother was Margaret Colhan. His paternal grandparents were Richard Comyn and Hextilda FitzUchtred; his maternal grandfather was Fergus Colhan. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Fergus, Margaret, Idonea, Elizabeth and Agnes. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Richard. He died in 1290.-
