Almira Asenath Cherry 
Almira Asenath was born in 1829 in Culpeper, Hanover County, Virginia. Almira Asenath's father was Daniel Cherry and her mother was Sarah Turner. Her paternal grandparents were Jesse Cherry and Elilzabeth Gainer; her maternal grandparents were Frederick Turner and Mary Jones. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin Franklin, Norman Turner, Calvin Washington, Narcissa, Louanna, Louisa, Drucilla Butler, Belinda Frances and Marcella Dearbra. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 in 1912.-
