Robert Earl of Cornwall, Count of Mortain de Mortaigne

Robert Earl of Cornwall, Count of Mortain was born after 1040 in Normandy,France.¹   Robert Earl of Cornwall, Count of Mortain's father was Harlevin De CONTEVILLE and his mother was Harlette De FALAISE.  His paternal grandparents were Jean De CONTEVILLE and Mrs- Mrs-Jean De CONTEVILLE; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert De FALAISE and Doda Of FALAISE. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Odo De, Robert Count De, Andre, Muriel, Miss De, Mathilde De, Muriel De and Emma De.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William I "The, Adelaide "Countess Of and Godiva Of.  He died about 1090.  He was buried in Grestain.^1 1 

‌Robert Earl of Cornwall, Count of Mortain and Matilda (Maud) were married in a religious ceremony before 1054.  They had a son and two daughters, named William Earl of Cornwall, Agnes and Emma.
