John de Courtenay

John was born in 1300 in Exeter,Devonshire,England. John's father was *Hugh II de Courtenay and his mother was *Agnes St. John. His paternal grandparents were *Hugh I , Sir de Courtenay and *Eleanor Le Despencer; his maternal grandparents were *John St. John and *Alice Fitzpiers. He had three brothers and two sisters, named *Hugh , 10th Earl of Devon, Robert, Thomas, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 49 in 1349.
