Thomas Courtenay

Thomas was born in 1318 in Southpole,& Woodhuish,& Dunterten. Thomas' father was *Hugh II de Courtenay and his mother was *Agnes St. John. His paternal grandparents were *Hugh I , Sir de Courtenay and *Eleanor Le Despencer; his maternal grandparents were *John St. John and *Alice Fitzpiers. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, *Hugh , 10th Earl of Devon, Robert, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 19 on August 21st, 1337.
