Joseph Whitney 
Joseph was born on December 6th, 1710. Joseph's father was Joseph Whitney and his mother was Hannah Hoyt. His paternal grandparents were *John Whitney and *Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were Zerubbabel Hoyt and Hannah Knapp. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Hezehika, David, Abraham, Hannah, Thankful and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children.-
