Sherilda Eldora (Dora) was born on May 19th, 1877. Sherilda Eldora (Dora)'s father was George Washington (Wash) Ward and her mother was Margaret Angeline Bass. Her maternal grandparents were Fineas Ewing Bass and Indiana Powers. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Edwin Francis, Pervis Winfred, James Warner, George Washington, Clara Cordelius, Sarah Cordella, Ida Belle, India (Jane), Minnie Dell and Auda Estel. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 89 on June 9th, 1966 in Granite City,Illinois.-
