John Henry Walter

John Henry was born on October 2nd, 1864 in Wayne Co,Illinois. John Henry's father was Edward Walter and his mother was Drusilla Duvall. His paternal grandparents were Silvern Walter and Ruth ?; his maternal grandparents were Orman Duvall and Hannah Wheeler. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named William Marion, James Monroe, Lewis L, Orman H, Samuel G, Edward, Thomas Jefferson, Charles, George Washington, Ruth Hannah, Sarah Jane, Sophrona and Melissa. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Levi, Silas Bass and Bertha Amia. He died about 1956 in Mill Shoals,Illnois.

‌John Henry and Rachel Ann were married in a religious ceremony on February 10th, 1864 in Illinois. They had five sons and five daughters, named Luther, John Edward, Alva Curtis, Thomas Calvin, Phineas, Katie Belle, Louise, Esther May, Mary Elizabeth and Isabelle.
