Abraham Van Meter 
Abraham was born in 1700. Abraham's father was Joost Jansen Van Meteren and his mother was Sara DuBois. His paternal grandparents were Jan Joosten VanMeteren and Maeyken Hendricksen; his maternal grandparents were Louis DuBois and Catharine Blanchan. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jan Jansen, Hendrick Jansen, Isaac, Jacob, Rebekka, Lysbeth, Rachel and Malinda. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
