John VanCleave 
John was born in 1739 in Monmouth County,New Jersey. John's father was Aaron Van Cleef-VanCleave and his mother was Rachel Schenck. His paternal grandparents were Isbrandt Van Cleef-VanCleave and Jannetje Van der Bilt; his maternal grandparents were Jan Roelifse Schenck and Sarah (Saartje) Couwenhoven. He had six brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Cary, Benjamin, William, Aaron, Roleph and Jane. He died at the age of 73 on December 5th, 1812 in Jefferson Co. IN.-
