Robert Morgan was born on July 1st, 1790 in of,Mitchelstown,Westmeath,Ireland. Robert Morgan's father was Robert Stearne Tighe Esquire and his mother was Catherine Morgan. His maternal grandparents were Hugh Morgan Colonel and Elizabeth Tisdale. He had two brothers and a sister, named William Stearne, Hugh Usher and Catherine.
