John Terry 
John was born in 1781 in Campbell County,Tennessee. John's father was John Terry and his mother was Esther Brown. His paternal grandparents were William Terry and Rachel Manson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Brown and Mary Terry. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Elisha, Elias, Thomas, Sally, Esther, Rachel and Elizabeth. He had twelve half-brothers and a half-sister, named Josiah, William, George F., Haden, John, Elijah, Elisha, J. Elias, Miles, Thomas, Daniel, Jasper and Esther (Easter).-
