Lewis Byrum Stewart 
Lewis Byrum was born on December 22nd, 1819 in Crawford County,Indiana. Lewis Byrum's father was David N. Stewart and his mother was Anna Sloan. His maternal grandparents were John Sloan and Mary Greene. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John Sloan, James, David Green, Eli, Samuel M, Martin T., Martha Ann and Mary Ann. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 in 1904. He was buried in Old Marengo Cemetery.-
