His paternal grandparents were George Kemmis Reverend and Caroline Olphert. He had five brothers named William Henry Olphert, Arthur George, Lewis George Nicholas, Edward Bernhard and Gilbert. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 78 on December 22nd, 1945.General Notes
