Cynthian Sloan 
Cynthian was born in 1830 in Jackson County,Missouri. Cynthian's father was Jeremiah Xenophen Sloan and her mother was Martha Weathers. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Rebecca Guy; her maternal grandparents were Richard Weathers and Chloe Jones. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Millum "Wilson S.", Richard, Mary, Eliza, Catherine W. and Jane. She was the oldest of the seven children.-
