Lewis Shepherd 
Lewis was born on December 15th, 1771 in Virginia. Lewis' father was John James Shepherd Sr. and his mother was Sarah J.-------. His paternal grandparents were George Shepherd and Elizabeth Mary Angelique Day. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Stephen, Andrew, Ann (Susannah), Susannah, Lucy, Nancy, Sarah and Philadelphia "Delphia". He had two half-brothers named Nicholas and David. He died at the age of 79 on September 15th, 1851 in Greene County,Illinois.-
