Pieter was born on August 15th, 1807 in Nieuwkoop,Zuid Holland,Netherland and his baptism took place there on August 22nd, 1807.  Pieter's father was Gerrit SCHELLINGERHOUT and his mother was Neeltje PIJPER.  His paternal grandparents were Gysbert SCHELLINGERHOUT and Maghteltje Gysbertsdr VERMIJ; his maternal grandparents were Thomas PIJPER and Marrigje VERLOOW. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Gysbert, Thomas, Maggeltje, Marrigje, Neeltje and Margje-Magteltje.  He died in 1807 in Nieuwkoop,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  He was buried in Nieuwkoop,Zuid Holland,Netherland.
