Maggeltje was born in 1795 in Nieuwkoop,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  Maggeltje's father was Gerrit SCHELLINGERHOUT and her mother was Neeltje PIJPER.  Her paternal grandparents were Gysbert SCHELLINGERHOUT and Maghteltje Gysbertsdr VERMIJ; her maternal grandparents were Thomas PIJPER and Marrigje VERLOOW. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Gysbert, Thomas, Pieter, Marrigje, Neeltje and Margje-Magteltje.  She died at the age of 48 on September 1st, 1843 in Nieuwkoop,Zuid Holland,Netherland.
