Willis Rodgers 
Willis was born on February 10th, 1810 in Shelby Co.,KY. Willis' father was George W. Rodgers and his mother was Elizabeth Pierson. His maternal grandparents were Meshack Pierson and Mary Jennings. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Nicholas, Charles, Alfred R., Achilles, William M., Samuel, Daniel, John, Thursa, Nedelie, Mahala, Betsy and Sarah. He died at the age of 63 on February 16th, 1873 in Haseville,Keokuk Co.,Iowa.-
