Elizabeth was born about 1849. Elizabeth's father was Alfred R. Rodgers and her mother was Susannah Pace. Her paternal grandparents were George W. Rodgers and Elizabeth Pierson. She had a brother and a sister, named Israel and Mildred. She was the youngest of the three children.-
