Nehemiah was born on March 6th, 1715 in Norwich,N.L.,CT and his baptism took place on March 1st, 1715 in St James Church,Norwich,New London,Connecticut. Nehemiah's father was Jonathan ROYCE and his mother was Ruth BECKWITH. His paternal grandparents were Johnathan ROYCE and Mary SPINNING; his maternal grandparents were Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and Mrs. Elizabeth BECKWITH. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Matthew, John, David, Mary, Elizabeth, Ruth, Martha and Deborah. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died in Marlow(?),Nh(?).
