John ROYCE 
John was born in March 1712 in Norwich,N-Lndn,Connecticut. John's father was Jonathan ROYCE and his mother was Ruth BECKWITH. His paternal grandparents were Johnathan ROYCE and Mary SPINNING; his maternal grandparents were Matthew (Mathew) BECKWITH and Mrs. Elizabeth BECKWITH. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Matthew, David, Nehemiah, Mary, Elizabeth, Ruth, Martha and Deborah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 48 on December 24th, 1760 in Woodbury,Ltchfl,Connecticut. He was buried in Woodbury,Litchfield,Conn.General Notes
