William (Sr.) Prewit 
William (Sr.) was born on September 6th, 1787 in KY. William (Sr.)'s father was *David II Prewit and his mother was *Jane Parrott. His paternal grandfather was *David I Prewitt. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, David (3rd), *Elijah, Samuel, John, Elizabeth and Martha Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on September 16th, 1849 in Orange,IN.-
