James Prewit

James was born about 1773. James' father was *David II Prewit and his mother was *Jane Parrott. His paternal grandfather was *David I Prewitt. He had five brothers and two sisters, named David (3rd), *Elijah, Samuel, John, William (Sr.), Elizabeth and Martha Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
