John Prewit 
John was born in 1754 in VA. John's father was *David I Prewitt. His paternal grandparents were *Richard (Sr) Prewitt and *Frances Murrel. He had six brothers named Richard, William, *David II, Charles (Sr.), Elijah and Samuel. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 in 1829 in Rockcastle,KY.-
