Margaret (Peggy) was born on March 11th, 1830. Margaret (Peggy)'s father was Marsham (Massa) Powers and her mother was Jane Holmes. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Isaac Holms, Jacob, Jackson, James, Samuel M., Indiana, Lavina Jane and Hannah Mathewson. She was the third oldest of the nine children.General Notes
On 08-4-1875 she signed for her part of the estate. She was in Jasper Co.
