William Pierson 
William was born in 1838. William's father was Thomas Pierson and his mother was Elizabeth Jones. His paternal grandparents were John Pierson and Nancy P. Gee. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Augustine, John, George D., Arthur, Abraham, Narcissa, Eliza and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the nine children.-
