Henry Clinch was born on December 25th, 1861. Henry Clinch's father was Andrew Jackson Pierson and his mother was Sara Elizabeth Mallatt. His paternal grandparents were Henry Clinch Pierson and Louisa Hazzard. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William Riley, Benjamin Franklin, George Francis, James Leon, John Edward, Lewis Garfield, Andrew Jackson II, Nancy Jane and Louisa Priscilla. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
