William's baptism took place on March 8th, 1769 in Kenwyn,Cornwall,England.  William's father was William PENROSE and his mother was Mary HELENS. He had a brother and five sisters, named Matthew, Agnes, Agnes, Elizabeth, Joanna and Mary.
