William Morgan Sir Knight 
William was born in of Pen-coed mano,Llanfarthin,Monmouthshire,England and his baptism took place in (24-1565/6). William's father was Thomas Morgan Sir Knight and his mother was Cecily Herbert. His paternal grandparents were William Morgan Sir Knight and Florence Brydges; his maternal grandparents were George Herbert Sir Knight and Elizabeth Berkeley. He had four brothers and a sister, named Robert, Henry, James, George and Florence. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Jane and Mary.
