Edward was born in of Llanrhymni ma,St Mellons,Monmouthshire,England. Edward's father was Thomas Morgan Esquire and his mother was Catrin Herbert. His paternal grandparents were Henry (Harry) Morgan and Catrin Kemeys; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Herbert and Mary Morgan. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William, Blanche, Jane, Catherine, Elizabeth and Mary. He died in July 1665 in ,St Eustatius.General Notes
