He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Robert II , Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger, Robert de Alencon, Hughes , Earl of Shrewsbury, Philip, Roger "The Poitevin", Maurice, Arnulf, Maud, Matilda, Emma , Abbess of Almen and Sybil.
