John William May 
John William was born in 1857 in Lucas County,Iowa. John William's father was John May and his mother was Hannah Cinthia White. His paternal grandparents were Peter May and Rachel Booth; his maternal grandparents were John White and Missilva Johnston. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Albert D., Paris Dell, Mary Alice, Amanda Etta and Sarah Ann. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James Madison. He died at the age of 82 in 1939 in Lucas County,Iowa.-
