Permelia Kilby

Permelia was born on February 20th, 1847 in Reddies River,Wilkes County,North Carolina. Permelia's father was Abraham Kilby and her mother was Naomi Serena Dancy. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Kilby and Mary Elizabeth (Betsey) Rash; her maternal grandparents were John Dancy and Rachel Johnson. She had a brother and six sisters, named John Sidney, Elizabeth, Ellen, Ann, Tennessee, Alva and America. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 1 on June 15th, 1848 in Reddies River,Wilkes County,North Carolina.
